Linway Cinema is a locally owned and operated first run cinema.  Maple City Investment Company (MCIC) established the cinema in 1994 after acquiring the Linway Plaza Shopping Center.  In 1994, the shopping center had many empty store fronts.  After MCIC, a group of investors from Goshen, got involved with the shopping center, it began to gain popularity. 

Today, Linway Cinema is operated by the same people who have been involved for the past 25 years.  As a small business in this community, it has been our pleasure serving the people of and visitors to: Goshen, Elkhart, Middlebury, and the rest of the county!  As the community has grown, so has the cinema. Our screen count has changed from the six (6) screens we opened with to the fourteen (14) we have today.  We have seen 35 MM film and projection be replaced with digital equipment.  And, with digital equipment we began offering RealD 3D. As our screen count increased, our building has changed. Some of our auditorium seating has changed, we have added additional restrooms and concession stands, and have even relocated our entire entrance.

Popcorn sizes are: Small, Medium, and Large. On occasion we carry specialty containers.

Our fountain drink sizes are: Regular and Large. On occasion we carry specialty containers for drinks also.

We offer Pepsi Products. Subject to change, the following are our fountain drink choices…
Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew Code Red, Raspberry Iced Tea, and Lemonade

We also have a variety of bottled beverages in our vending machines, including but not limited to: additional soda flavors, several popular Gatorade and Sobe Lifewater flavors, and plain and flavored AquaFina bottled water!

We are now partnered with ICEE! We have four flavors of ICEE frozen beverage at our main concession stand. We also carry Starbuck’s Frappuccino flavors at all our concession stands.

We have a wide range of candy. Selections range from classics like Jr. Mints and Twizzlers to newer candies like Sour Skittles, Chewy Sweetart Ropes and Peanut Butter M&M's.

Depending on availability, we also offer soft pretzels, nachos, and kid's combo packs. Kid's combos include; plain popcorn, a drink, and a small package of fruit snacks.

RECORDING AUDIO AND VIDEO IS A STATE AND FEDERAL OFFENSE. IF CAUGHT YOU CAN BE FINED AND IMPRISONED! LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS CANNOT TELL IF YOU ARE JUST BEING RUDE OR ARE BREAKING THE LAW. PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONES.

DUE TO THE FEDERAL MANDATE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND CONGRESS, LINWAY CINEMA REQUIRES A PHOTO I.D. TO GAIN ENTRY INTO AN R-RATED MOVIE. ANYONE UNDER 17 WILL NEED TO HAVE A PARENT OR ADULT GUARDIAN AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE WITH PHOTO I.D. Maintenance and liability together limit both the amount and the types of personal property that we can allow a client to bring into the building. All bags are subject to search. Any type of recording equipment is banned from the cinemas due to contractual arrangements with film companies and copyright laws. Noise producing toys and games are also prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse any individual access to the cinema, should we determine that entry may inconvenience any other customer. If you are not sure… ask. By asking one of our staff first you can avoid a potentially embarrassing situation and can enjoy the film!

IN ORDER TO KEEP TICKET PRICES DOWN WE HIRE ALOT OF TEENAGE HELP THAT IS INEXPERIENCED. THAT COMES WITH SOME BURDEN ON OUR CUSTOMERS. PLEASE BE ASSURED THERE IS ALWAYS AN ADULT MANAGER AND OFTEN SECURITY PROFESSIONAL ON HAND IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. IF THERE IS AN EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FIND A MANAGER TO COMPLAIN TO BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY ATTENDING TO THE PROBLEM OR ON THE PHONE TO EMERGENCY PERSONNEL. AND SOME DAYS WHILE CLEANING UP AFTER A SICK PATRON OR CALLING FOR AN AMBULANCE FOR THE ELDERLY PERSON THAT ISN’T FEELING WELL, THE FILM OR SOUND SYSTEM FAILS AND WE HAVE TO PRIORITIZE OUR RESPONSE.

WE KNOW ALL TOO WELL THAT WHILE IT IS ONLY A MOVIE. IT IS ALSO YOUR NIGHT OUT AND YOUR ESCAPE FROM THE STRESSES OF THE WEEK. PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW WE CAN SERVE YOU BETTER. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM CONTACT AN USHER IMMEDIATELY OR TALK TO A CASHIER IF THE MANAGER IS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANAGER MAY ALREADY BE WORKING ON THE PROBLEM OR ON ANOTHER TASK.
